I met Aimee and Shawn on a frigid day in Hoyt Arboretum for a family portrait session with their children: Mira the infant (nickname: McGoo) and Denali the most photogenic husky that ever was (nickname: Deezer). My girlfriend - who was acting as my assistant for the day - and I were so overwhelmed by how perfect and adorable this family was together. Even though it was pretty cold, it was an absolute treat taking photos with them and hanging out for an hour in the park.
