For those who haven't heard of him, W. Kamau Bell is a critically acclaimed socio-political comedian based in Berkeley. He currently hosts the CNN show, United Shades of America as well as several amazing podcasts, but is perhaps best known for his FX comedy series, Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell. Kamau was invited to speak at Lewis & Clark on the evening before the presidential election on issues of race and the state of the world (among other things). It was incredibly fascinating and seriously funny. Not only that, but the dude was also super gracious - in particular he was really nice about letting me follow him around all evening with my camera (something that probably gets old pretty quickly). All in all, a great guy, a great performance, and an incredibly smart voice that I will be paying closer attention to from here on out.
