I was put in touch with Greg Homza, the Director of Musical Ministries the First Presbyterian Church through my good friend Amy who is a choral scholar in the group. She informed me that they would be giving a really great concert as part of their Celebration Works series, the highlights of which would be Lauridsen's Lux Aeterna and Fauré's Requeim, and wondered whether I would be able to take some photos of the performance. Being a choral singer myself, I jumped at the excuse to hear such great music on the job. The concert was lovely and the pictures didn't turn out half bad either, although, as is always the case, a few more eyes on the conductor wouldn't have hurt ; ).
